Philanthropies
The Woodlands Chapter supports the following local charities through volunteer hours and/or monetary donations. 100% of the profits from the sale of our jewelry products go to support deserving philanthropies in our communities. Proceeds from our jewelry are NOT used to fund local or national operating expenses.
Administaff Golf Tournament
The Woodlands Chapter of NCL provides volunteers for the annual Administaff Small Business Classic golf tournament on behalf of Interfaith. Volunteers take tickets, monitor entrances and provide general assistance to tournament organizers. The Administaff Golf Tournament donates thousands of dollars each year back to the local community.

Children's Museum
The Woodlands Children's Museum is a premier nonprofit museum with a hands on environment for children to learn and play in in a hometown atmosphere. Volunteers have the opportunity to work and play side by side with the children to help them develop an interest and knowledge in the exhibits offered.

Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation - Lanyard Project
The Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF) is a non-profit national health organization committed to finding a cure for neuroblastoma through research, education, awareness and advocacy. NCL provides volunteers for the neuroblastoma lanyard project, which assembles beaded lanyards which are sold to profit the research efforts.

Class Act Productions
Class Act Productions provides opportunities for area youth in the performing arts. NCL provides both financial assistance and volunteer work for this organization. NCL provides ushers, set up and clean up help as their volunteer work.

Grogan's Point Charitable Giving Foundation Spring 5K Fun Run
The Spring Fever 5K was created to support local Montgomery County charities and support worthy agencies in our community. NCL provides volunteers to be on hand on race day to provide refreshment and rest stations and aid in registration.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. NCL Volunteers provide light construction, landscaping and other clerical and general assistance as needed to the organization.

Humane Society of Montgomery County
The Humane Society serves Montgomery County by sheltering and encouraging the adoption of animals. National Charity League has helped with the care of animals by feeding, walking and grooming and through assistance at the annual Mutt Strut. Other contributions from NCL have been through food and financial assistance.

Interfaith Community Clinic
The Interfaith Community Clinic serves South Montgomery County needy families. NCL helps by collecting supplies and provides volunteers during the annual "Healthy Kids Festival".

The Interfaith Food Pantry serves South Montgomery County needy families. NCL helps by collecting, sorting, donating and bagging food in this year round philanthropy.

Interfaith's Adopt-A-Family
The Ticktockers in each class raise money during the fall that is then used to buy Christmas gifts for needy families. Each class adopts a family and then goes shopping to purchase items from a wish list.

Interfaith Hand-Me-Up Shop
The Interfaith Hand-Me-Up Shop takes in donated cloths and other items for resale. NCL helps to sort, tag, price and also donates items.

Interfaith Holiday Toy Drive and Distribution
NCL conducts toy drives for children and young adults of Montgomery County at Christmas time. Almost 300 children receive new toys at Christmas through this program. NCL also helps with the sorting and distribution of the gifts and toys to needy families.
Interfaith Senior Commumity Games
NCL provides volunteers each year for Interfaith's community senior games. The event brings together 200+ community seniors from 14 local senior housing complexes for a day of friendly mental and physical competition. Volunteers assist the seniors in the games and offer assistance is coordinating challenges.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels serve over 300 meals to homebound citizens every day. NCL helps by delivering meals two times a week to residents year round. National Charity League also helps meals on wheels financially with donations that are used to sponsor meals for the citizens and buy kitchen supplies and equipment.

MD Anderson Cancer Center
MD Anderson is continuously ranked as one of the world's most respected cancer centers and pursues excellence in patient care, research, education, and prevention opportunities. The Woodlands Chapter of NCL provides things such as treat cups for chemotherapy patients and other services as requested.

Montgomery County Women's Center - Birthday Cakes
Montgomery County Women's Center provides survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault of Montgomery, Liberty, and North Harris counties with the services they need to rebuild their lives. The Woodlands Chapter of NCL provides birthday cakes monthly to the center for survivor celebrations.

Regent Care Bingo
NCL visits with the senior citizen residents and helping to play bingo. This is a year round, weekly philanthropy for both Patronesses and Ticktockers.
South Montgomery County Library
The South Montgomery Library offers reading and educational programs to the community. NCL has helped with shelving, summer reading, puppet shows, and book sales. NCL has also made monetary donations that have been used to purchase books.
SMC Library
Special Olympics
Special Olympics give people with handicaps a chance to participate in athletic events. Ticktockers and Patronesses have helped with track and field and softball in the annual event.

The Woodlands Children's Festival
The Children's Festival is an annual event to promote cultural interaction, educating children while creating a fun atmosphere. Patronesses and Ticktockers help by working booths such as face painting, crafts, and games.

US Troop Support Foundation
NCL assists the Troop Support Foundation with various events supporting troops which include packing boxes, picking up donations and volunteering at local golf tournaments.

YMCA Dragon Boat Races
NCL provides volunteers for The Woodlands YMCA Dragon Boat Races each fall. This unique team building event is designed to build community spirit among corporations, civic groups and community organizations.
