For more than 50 years, National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has thrived as one of the nation's most distinctive and well-respected mother-daughter membership organizations. The Woodlands Chapter was founded in 1986 by a small group of interested mothers and daughters and received its Charter in 1988. Our chapter is composed of over 200 active mothers and daughters, in addition to our alumni, organized to initiate and encourage charitable endeavors and to foster the Mother/Daughter relationship in philanthropic, cultural and leadership training.

In our local community, we volunteer our time to various philanthropies and support deserving philanthropies financially through proceeds from our Spring and Fall Plant Sales and the sale of our NCL Jewelry to our sister Chapters around the country. 100% of our profits from our fundraising efforts are donated back to our community.

National Charity League, Inc. members are mothers and daughters in grades 7-12 who are committed to the mission and vision of NCL and who believe in the organization's core values. Membership in a Chapter requires a commitment of time and service and carries a financial responsibility.

The purpose of the NCL Experience is to inspire and empower women to succeed as confident, well-rounded and socially aware contributors in their communities.

Our mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. Membership in NCL gives mothers and daughters unique opportunities to strengthen their bond while growing together, sharing of themselves and improving their communities.
